When you upload content, it is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers. Both the original uploaded file and the processed data are permanently erased as soon as the processing is complete.

UserListConverter is an online tool designed to simplify and automate the process of extracting user data from screenshots. It's specifically built for auditors, GRC professionals, corporate IT teams, and anyone responsible for user access reviews and compliance audits. Instead of manually typing out user lists from images, UserListConverter transforms your screenshots into structured, editable data formats like CSV, Excel, or directly to your clipboard in seconds.

We strive to support processing all digital user lists captured in screenshots. Currently, our algorithm performs best and is most accurate on tabular data, where information is organized into clear rows and columns with aligned headers. We are actively developing list-based and pattern-based algorithms to expand our compatibility to more diverse and less structured user list formats in the future.

As for the accuracy of the output, we employ a multi-layered approach to ensure high accuracy. We utilize OCR, locally-run machine learning models along with third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) to define table structures and/or layouts, identify data fields, and extract text. While we strive for 100% accuracy, we encourage all our users to verify the results. To make this easier, we output a warning column with all extractions that alerts users of possible errors.

While we strive for accuracy, due to varying user list layouts and quality of the screenshots, there may be conversions that miss certain text or do not work.

For best results, always aim for clear, high-resolution screenshots.

Because we do not store user uploaded data, we do not make improvements to our algorithm based on user uploaded data. If you would like us to support a specific layout, please contact us.

Yes. We understand you are handling highly sensitive corporate information during user access reviews, and we are committed to the highest standards of data security and transparency. Here is exactly how we protect your data:

End-to-End Encryption: All data transferred between your browser and our servers is secured using strong SSL/TLS encryption to prevent unauthorized access during transit.
Secure, Zero-Retention Processing: To provide our service, we use a secure third-party AI provider. Per our agreement, your data is never used to train their models. For security and abuse monitoring, the data is retained by our provider for a short period, after which it is permanently deleted from their systems. Your data is not stored by us and is never used for any purpose other than processing your immediate request.
Immediate and Permanent Deletion: The moment processing is complete, both your original file and the extracted results are permanently and instantly deleted from all systems.
Your Data Is Never Used for Training: Our legal agreement with our AI provider strictly prohibits them from using your data to train their models. Your content is used exclusively for your processing request and for no other purpose.

No, we do not store your screenshots or converted data on our own servers. Our systems are built on a strict zero-retention policy, meaning your files are permanently deleted from our infrastructure the moment processing is complete. For full transparency, the analysis is performed using a secure, industry-leading AI provider. To ensure the security and integrity of their service, our provider temporarily retains data for a short period for abuse monitoring, after which it is also permanently deleted. Crucially, your data is never used to train any AI models, and this is strictly enforced by our data-processing agreement with our provider.

Currently, our focus is on improving the accuracy of our algorithm and working on bugs. Due to the cost of hosting, OCR, and 3rd-party LLMs, we're currently limiting the number of conversions a user can perform and hope to soon provide ways for users to purchase more credit.
